JEC Organizes Awareness Programme Under Madhya Pradesh Government’s Nari Shakti Vandan Pakhwada -16 April 2026
In line with the Madhya Pradesh Government’s statewide Nari Shakti Vandan Pakhwada, observed from 10 to 25 April, Jabalpur Engineering College (JEC) organized a special awareness programme to celebrate women's achievements and promote the message of women’s empowerment. The campaign aimed to recognise women's contributions to society and raise awareness of the Nari Shakti Vandan Act, 2023. The programme featured a keynote address by Dr Mukta Tiwari, who emphasized that women are the foundation of the family, society, and the nation. Highlighting the importance of respecting and empowering women, she spoke about their indispensable role in social progress and national development. She also encouraged students to uphold the values of gender equality, dignity, and inclusiveness in all spheres of life.
The programme was held under the guidance of Principal Dr. Rajeev Chandak and witnessed the active participation of faculty members, including Dr. Anubha Maheshwari, Dr Shailja Shukla, Dr Shilpa Saxena, Dr Mamta Lambert, and Dr Kanchan Khare. The programme was a meaningful step towards promoting women’s empowerment and gender equality. It inspired students to recognise the valuable contributions of women and to work towards building a more respectful and inclusive society.
