National Technology Day at JEC: MoU Signed with Savishkar to Promote Innovation and Entrepreneurship- 11 May 2026
On the occasion of National Technology Day, Jabalpur Engineering College (JEC) organized a special lecture on “Startups and Government Schemes for Startups” to encourage innovation, entrepreneurship, and nation-building among students. The lecture was delivered by Mr. Kailash Rathi from the Incubation Cell, Smart City Jabalpur. He explained various government schemes, startup opportunities, and the support available for young innovators. He motivated students to turn their ideas into successful ventures and contribute to the development of the nation. The programme was jointly organized by Savishkar and Jabalpur Engineering College. Savishkar, inspired by the vision of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, promotes innovation, research, and entrepreneurship among youth. It encourages students to become job creators and innovators who can contribute to building an Atmanirbhar Bharat (Self-Reliant India)
A significant highlight of the event was the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between Jabalpur Engineering College and Savishkar. The MoU aims to strengthen cooperation in innovation, research, skill development, and startup activities, creating new opportunities for students. The event was attended by Dr Sandeep Pandey, Prant Pramukh, Savishkar (ABVP), Shri Prabhat Tiwari, Mahanagar Sangathan Mantri, Shri Mayank Mishra, Shri Om Gupta, and several other dignitaries and office bearers. The programme was successfully coordinated by Dr Saurabh Singh. According to Dr Rajeev Chandak, Principal, JEC, and Prof. Kamal Kumar Kushwaha, Dean, Research and Development, although this may be a modest contribution, the event highlighted the important role of youth in shaping the nation's future through innovation and entrepreneurship
