JEC Creates New Milestones in Placement Drive 2025–26
Established in 1947 as Government Engineering College, Jabalpur, Jabalpur Engineering College is one of the premier engineering institutions of Madhya Pradesh, known for its rich legacy, academic excellence, and outstanding student achievements. The Training and Placement Cell of the college plays a vital role in preparing students for successful careers through technical training, skill development, aptitude preparation, internships, and continuous industry interaction. Under the guidance of Principal Dr. Rajeev Chandak, the college has consistently focused on strengthening industry connections and creating better career opportunities for students. The dedicated efforts of Training & Placement Officers Dr Saurabh Singh and Dr Madhuri Gokhale, along with their team members, led to remarkable placement achievements during the academic session 2025–26
The placement season for the 2026 batch proved highly successful, with more than 303 students securing placements in reputed organizations across IT, analytics, consulting, industrial, and core engineering sectors. The average package ranged between ₹5.5 LPA and ₹7.5 LPA, while the highest package reached ₹21 LPA. More than 23 reputed companies participated in the campus placement drives. In another major achievement, 39 students were selected by multinational IT companies for prestigious roles such as Specialist Programmer and Digital Specialist Engineer, receiving packages ranging from ₹6.25 LPA to ₹21 LPA along with additional benefits. Students from Computer Science, Information Technology, Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, Artificial Intelligence & Data Science, Electronics & Communication, Industrial & Production, Mechatronics, and MCA recorded impressive placement success.
Leading companies, including Infosys, IBM, Reliance Industries Limited, Larsen & Toubro Limited, Torrent Power, KEC International, Escorts Kubota Limited, JK Cement, DENSO, and DHL IT participated in the recruitment process, reflecting the strong trust industry places in JEC students. With its motto “Onwards on Wings,” Jabalpur Engineering College continues to guide students towards bright and successful futures.
