Golden Jubilee Reunion, (1972 batch) October 10, 2022: Honouring a Lifetime Friendship

The reunion celebration of Alumni has occupied a significant niche in the history of JEC, with a rich legacy. October 10, 2022, was celebrated as the Golden Jubilee Reunion of the 1972 batch. It was an enjoyable nostalgic day with immense love and bonding among the batchmates of yesteryears who assembled to celebrate the time they spent together in college. The programme started with a traditional lamp-lighting ceremony followed by the Saraswati Vandana. After the veneration ceremony, the retired Professors were felicitated with shawls, mementoes and coconuts as a mark of respect and honour. Er. Puneet Shukla paid a tribute to the deceased alumni by giving a screen presentation of their lives. This was followed by a pictorial introduction of the present alumni given by Er. Sandeep Roy. The speeches of retired professors Dr Manish Choubey, Dr I.K Khana, Dr A. R Sharma, Dr G.P Tiwari overwhelmed the audience. Dr S. K Sant, Dr Suhanda Prof. P. K Jain blessed the audience with their words of benediction. Dr Amarjit Singh, Prof. N. K Sharma, Dr G.K Sen and Prof. Uday Pandya reflected on their sweet& sour reminiscences of bygone days. Dr P.K. Jhinge, in his address, unfolded the success of their alma mater. He also shared the hurdles coming in the way of the academic activities of the college. The programme came to an end by the vote of thanks proposed by Convenor Er. Naresh Mehta. He also declared that the 1972 batch of JEC had decided to repay the debt of their alma mater by contributing a certain amount of money for its growth.
