JEC celebrated the 74th Republic Day as Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav on 26 January 2023

JEC celebrated the 74th Republic Day amidst the foggy morning of January 26, 2023. The decorative lighting illuminated the magnificent college building and the Platinum Jubilee Gate of JEC. The ceremony commenced with the unfurling of the National Flag by Dr P.K Jhinge, Principal, JEC

The NCC cadets, along with the principal, saluted the flag, followed by the singing of the National Anthem. Dr Jhinge, in his address to the gathering, underscored the steps that were taken to ensure the overall development of its students. He took pride in mentioning that the college, to a great extent, is at par with the educational standards that the government is now enforcing. He further briefed the audience about a series of events organised to fulfil our Hon'ble Prime Minister Narendra Modi ji's clarion call of Aatmanirbhar Bharat. The principal also hoisted the national flag in the college hostels to generate enthusiasm and patriotism among the students.

To mark the day, NCC cadets actively participated in the Republic day celebration as a token of their zeal and dedication towards the nation. At the end of the programme, sweets were distributed to all the students.
