An Awareness Program on “Empowerment of Women and Children” under the aegis of Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav, January 20, 2023

On the occasion of Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav, an awareness programme on "Empowerment of Women and Children" was organised on January 20, 2023, at Jaishan Auditorium. The chief guest of the function was Ms Kalavati Byare, Joint Collector, Jabalpur, who spoke on "Women Empowerment." While addressing the gathering, she narrated the ups and downs she had to face to achieve her goal. Her main aim was to help women faculty and students to understand their strengths and potential. The programme's key speaker, Dr Rajlakshmi Tripathi, Principal, Government Lalit Kala Mahavidyalaya, discussed "Women Empowerment in 75th year of Independence". She very firmly persuaded and encouraged women to build a strong society. Dr P.K Jhinge, in his speech, made girl students aware of the various schemes and efforts of the government for women's empowerment. Programme coordinators Dr Shilpa Saxena and Dr Kamal Kumar Kushwaha also expressed their views on how women can become self-reliant.
