National Webinar on ‘Emerging Materials for Launch Vehicle ( Rocket) Technology ‘ on October 14, 2022

The Department of Applied Physics organised a National Webinar on ‘Emerging Materials for Launch Vehicle ( Rocket) Technology’ under the aegis of Atam Nirbhar Madhya Pradesh in collaboration with the Indian Association of Physics Teachers. Dr P.K Jhinge, while addressing the students, assured them that this webinar would definitely assist those students who want to pursue their careers in this field. The Keynote speaker Ravi Kumar Varma, a Senior Scientist at Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO), enriched the students with his knowledge on the ‘Evolution of Materials, Testing of Materials’ etc. Other than this, he shared his experiences and told them about the vision of ISRO that is shared, nurtured and enhanced over the decade. The lecture was prodigious. The Convenor of the Webinar was Dr Kamal Kumar Kushwaha, and Dr Sujeet Kumar Mahobia was the Coordinator. This webinar was attended by more than 400 students from across the country.
