Educational Tour of IIT Indore: 1st and 2nd November 2022

As a part of the Educational Tour, 40 Final Year students and two faculty members visited the Advanced Laboratories of IIT Indore on the 1st and 2nd of November 2022. This educational tour was conducted under the MOU between the Directorate of Technical Education & Skill Development and IIT Indore. On the first day of the tour, a meeting was held with Dr Anand Parey, Dean Alumni & Corporate Relations(ACR). The centre which captivated the attention of the students at IIT Indore was ‘The Sophisticated Instrumentation Centre’ (SIC). Here they learned about the exceptional facilities provided by SIC to academia and industry. The students also saw the Glass Blowing Lab, Material Science Lab, Advanced Manufacturing Lab etc., here, they were given a live demonstration of the working of the various advanced equipment. The Central Library of IIT Indore's facilities for external users also impressed the students. After the visit, the students expressed gratitude to Dr P.K Jhinge, who had endorsed this tour. Dr Agya Mishra & Prof D.S Rawat coordinated this visit successfully. .
